What stands out

Three things are worth calling out rather than just copying the table.

Storage is 80 GB on both rows. That is a large install for a single-player horror game and suggests heavy texture assets. There is no reduced-size or optional-download tier announced.

The memory gap is the real difference. Minimum and recommended share an OS, share storage, and differ mainly in CPU and GPU class plus 8 GB against 16 GB of RAM. If you are deciding what to upgrade, memory is the cheapest meaningful gain.

SSD recommended, not required. Steam's own note says an SSD is recommended. Nothing in the requirements implies a hard disk will fail to run it, but on an 80 GB install with streaming-heavy horror level design, expect longer loads on a mechanical drive.

Before you buy

Nothing in these rows has been independently tested, because the game is not out yet. Nobody has benchmarked it. Treat the table as the publisher's own guidance, and check back after October 8, 2026 for what players actually report. ⚠️ Unconfirmed. No third-party benchmarks exist yet. Anyone claiming a specific card "runs it at 60fps" before launch is guessing.
