FAQ

When does Hellraiser Revival come out?

October 8, 2026. All four store listings agree, and the game director repeated the date on the PlayStation Blog. Full tracking on the Release Date page.

What time does it unlock?

The PlayStation Store page renders its launch timestamp as October 8, 2026, 12:00 PM UTC. A community wiki lists 9:00 AM ET, which conflicts by an hour, so the hour stays labelled partial until launch day settles it.

How much does it cost?

$39.99 for the Standard Edition and $49.99 for the Deluxe Edition in US stores. Regional pricing applies. See Price.

What is in the Deluxe Edition?

Eight items: The Nailer melee weapon, Cenobite shotgun skin, Punisher baseball bat skin, Leviathan weapon charm, digital art book, digital soundtrack, the Bleeding Hearts digital novella, and an '80s horror movie filter. See Editions.

What do I get for pre-ordering?

Two weapon skins, the Labyrinth pistol skin and the Martyr sawblade skin, with any edition. See Pre-order.

Who sells the Collector's Edition?

Boss Team Games sells and ships the merchandise versions. Saber's own pinned post says it cannot answer shipping questions and routes players to [email protected]. See Collector's Edition.

What platforms is it on?

PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. Nothing has been announced for PS4, Xbox One or the original Switch. See Platforms.

Is there a demo?

Yes, a free Steam demo released September 17, 2026. No console demo has been announced. See Demo.

Is it single-player?

Yes as far as any store says. Every listing marks the game single-player only, and nothing official mentions an online mode of any kind. See Gameplay.

Who is the main character?

Aidan Lynch, spelled Aidan on the official PlayStation Blog. The demo subtitles spell it Aiden. See Characters.

Is Pinhead in it?

Yes. The store copy describes surviving a bargain with Pinhead, and the dev diary names him the Hell Priest. See The Hell Priest.

What is the Genesis Configuration?

A mysterious puzzle box with unknown power and purpose, bound to L1 in combat and used alongside weapons on R2. See Genesis Configuration.

Who are the enemies?

Three factions: the cultists of the Scarlet Church led by Marlowe, the Unworthy rejected by Leviathan, and the Cenobites. See Enemies.

Is there a difficulty setting?

Yes. The PS5 accessibility descriptor lists adjustable difficulty, and the demo menu shows Easy, Normal, Hard and a Hellraiser tier. See Difficulty and Saves.

Does it autosave?

Manual saving is the confirmed system. No autosave has been announced, and demo footage shows save stations. See Difficulty and Saves.

What are the PC requirements?

Windows 10 64-bit, Ryzen 5 1500X or i5-8400 with 8 GB RAM and a GTX 1660 or RX Vega 64 at minimum, and 80 GB of storage on both rows. See PC Requirements.

Can I play it on Steam Deck?

No compatibility rating exists and nothing official has been said. See Steam Deck.

Does it have Denuvo?

No first-party answer exists. The Steam page carries no DRM notice, which is not the same as a statement either way. See Troubleshooting.

Is there an FOV slider?

Unknown. It was the most requested option during the demo week and has no confirmed answer. See Options and Accessibility.

Can I turn the nudity off?

No toggle was found in the demo settings menus players opened, and nothing official addresses it. See Content Warnings.

Is it coming to Game Pass or PS Plus?

Neither has been announced. See Price.

Is it a remake of the 1987 film?

No. It is described as a new chapter in the Hellraiser canon with its own story and its own puzzle box. See Story and Series Background.
